3. Yoda

When 900 years you reach, lots of material you have for a spinoff series. The little and ancient Jedi Master doesn’t even have a species listed on Wookieepedia. He and Yaddle are their own species, it seems.

That’s one of the questions we wouldn’t mind having left alone in any putative spinoff series or films, though. Yoda simply exists, and it actually works well with his character

We’ve already proposed a Tales of the Sith anthology series already, based on our desire to know more about previous Sith Lords. Yoda would make a great anchor character for a corresponding Tales of the Jedi series. Even in his old age, he could still go toe-to-toe with Emperor Palpatine, and then raise an X-Wing from the muck in The Empire Strikes Back.

Additionally, Wookieepedia lists his very last Padawan as none other than Count Dooku, which would make for an excellent bridge into an episode or two of this Tales of the Jedi series focusing on him and Qui-Gon Jinn, which we already proposed.

Besides, Yoda has a great relationship with young Padawans and adult Jedi alike. We’d love to see more of his time teaching the younglings, as we saw in Attack of the Clones, too.
