7. Leia Organa

Leia, like Poe before her, also has a Star Wars comic book miniseries of her own. Yes, you should go read it. However, any chance to see more of our favorite badass space princess in action is a good thing in our humble opinions.

For Leia, we’d really like to see an adaptation of Bloodline, a novel by Claudia Gray. Not only did it capture an older Leia’s voice really well, it manages to add in a bit of mystery while also remaining a Star Wars novel. The prequel trilogy wishes it could have done politics and crime as well as Bloodline, basically.

Additionally, it takes a look at that now very-important period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. We’ll leave the reveals of Bloodline for you to discover, but suffice it to say that it has some major implications for the events of TFA and going forward in the sequel trilogy. It also features Leia showing up some younger people who think she can’t still pick up a blaster when she needs to.

Alternatively, we’d like a series mostly following a young and together-with-Han Leia Organa Solo, since there’s then a chance for romance and more of the back-and-forth that made them so charming as a pair in the original trilogy.
