All right, this is effectively a request for Dark Disciple to get an adaptation at some point eventually. Star Wars hasn’t shown a tendency to really take from its novels to directly inspire shows or adaptations entirely.

However, Dark Disciple started life as scripts for The Clone Wars prior to the show’s cancellation. Why not bring it back to animated life at some point? Why not, indeed. We’d watch a miniseries aimed at teens to adults.

For those unfamiliar with Asajj Ventress, she spent time as a Padawan, then became an unofficial apprentice to Count Dooku as Darth Tyranus. She duel-wields lightsabers. That’s not a double-bladed lightsaber a la Darth Maul, either. She actually has two lightsabers, and she has dueled with people like Anakin and Obi-Wan (together) while holding her own.

Dark Disciple tells the story of her and Quinlan Vos, a Jedi who may charitably be called a maverick. When they develop feelings for one another, things get very, very complicated, since she’s still an assassin at the time.

It would easily pull in fans of The Clone Wars and Star Wars fans looking for a perhaps more complex tale than can usually be expected from the franchise as a whole.
