6. Boba Fett
In the Star Wars universe, there are many iconic characters. But not all iconic characters equally rank in their sheer awesomeness.
Honestly, Boba Fett is one of the coolest characters to come out of Star Wars. He wears the same suit as his father, Jango Fett, and he’s got a real chip on his shoulder. Unlike other clones, Boba Fett wasn’t genetically altered nor did he undergo rapid aging. He grew up a like a “normal” child until Jango’s death.
After the events of Attack of the Clones, Boba grew into a skilled and feared bounty hunter. He easily tracked down Han Solo and brought him to Jabba the Hutt, where he stayed at Jabba’s palace until the events of Return of the Jedi. Regrettably, at the Great Pit of Carkoon, a temporarily blind Han Solo pushed Boba Fett into the Sarlacc Pit.
While many fans debate whether Boba Fett lived after that, it’s quite unfortunate that George Lucas couldn’t foresee the character’s lasting popularity.
However, there’s still hope that the character will return to the big screen somewhere down the road if Lucasfilm pursues a Boba Fett standalone film.
