8. Coloring Books

This trend may have cooled off slightly in the past year, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get in on the fun. Adult coloring books simply exploded onto the scene, and now some of the biggest series have coloring books of their own. HBO has its own Game of Thrones coloring book, but there’s an official one from George R.R. Martin as well.

For a Harry Potter fan, you can choose from several different books, but we’d recommend the Celebratory Edition, since it compiles artwork from all the previous entries and adds some exclusives in as well. Alternatively, you can pick a Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them coloring book, like this one with images of Newt Scamander.

Meanwhile, your YA enthusiast may enjoy the Throne of Glass coloring book from Sarah J. Maas. Alternatively, you could go for the soon-to-be-released Lunar Chronicles coloring book from Marissa Meyer.

You don’t have to keep it to book series, either. Disney has several different adult coloring books, including one featuring the villains. Doctor Who has its own coloring book as well. You could also consider something like The Night Voyage. In other words, there’s quite a lot to choose from in this genre.

Add in a set of coloring pencils like these from Artlicious or Crayola to complete the gift. For bonus points, include a pencil sharpener, too.
