10. The Book Reading Accessory Kit

Think of this as a combo pack. If you’ve ever tried to lie down and read or traveled with a book, you know that you’ll end up shifting positions multiple times to try and alleviate the stress on holding your book open. Here’s part one of the accessory kit: the Thumb Thing, which helps you read with one hand and one hand alone.

Alternatively, you can invest in a book stand like this one from Actto, which comes in multiple colors. Answers to questions say that it’s good for thick medical textbooks. In other words, that upcoming re-read of a favorite book will be way easier for your booklover with one of these.

Part two of the accessory kit is a book light. LuminoLite now makes a light with two settings that is rechargeable. That’s right, no more obtaining weird batteries for that book light that’s been working for years upon years. Its listing promises 10 hours of uninterrupted reading.

Finally, part three is a bookmark or two or three. (They have a terrible tendency to get lost.) You could even go whole hog and get a larger set, like these Tiffany bookmarks or ones that the recipient can color by themselves.
