5. He’s Actually Deserving of it

The problem with most of the contenders for the throne is that they just think they deserve it. There isn’t really a reason to that feeling, they just think they should have the throne. Whenever there is a battle for power, everyone seems to think that they should be able to rule even though they have no prior connections.

Jon though, he actually deserves to rule. He is qualified and his family line have all been rulers in some way or another. From the Starks to the Targaryens, Jon is the one who has the bloodline to rule and he also knows what to do.

While the Lannisters and Daenerys all have connections to the throne, the question remains. Do they know how to rule Westeros? With the Lannisters, we can see that they clearly don’t. After Joffrey, it just all continued to be a mess.

Daenerys seems to have the skills to rule but she continually makes enemies as she most through Westeros to get to Kings Landing. Jon though? He is seemingly moving through and doing whatever he has to for the throne and not making enemies along the way. Maybe he learned from Robb’s mistakes but he is clearly the most deserving.
