27. He Has the Second Coolest Pet in Westeros

It is undeniable that the dragons are the coolest pets in all of Westeros. Daenerys wins that won. She literally controls fire breathing dragons who only obey her. Nothing can top that. But Jon Snow has the second coolest pet in all the land: Ghost.

The direwolves came to us in season 1 when each Stark child got their own. Most of the direwolves were killed either defending their owner or as a sentencing (Lady was killed because Sansa ran away). The only two that we know are remaining are Ghost (Jon’s direwolf) and we believe that Nymeria (Arya’s direwolf) is still alive.

Ghost is amazing. He is an albino direwolf with red eyes who accompanied Jon to the wall when he was a member of the Night’s Watch. Ghost is ferocious direwolf is intensely loyal to Jon. He will do whatever he has to to make sure that Jon is safe.

All of the direwolves are that way, that’s why most of them are dead. Grey Wind died during the Red Wedding  trying to protect Robb, Summer, Lady and Shaggydog were all killed and Nymeria would have been killed if it wasn’t for Arya forcing her away. The direwolves are amazing but they don’t beat dragons, unfortunately.
