30 Reasons Why Jon Snow Deserves The Iron Throne

18. He isn’t Entitled

With everyone else vying for the phone, they all feel as if they are entitled to the throne. Whether they once ruled (Daenerys) or their family claims King’s Landing (the Lannisters) or the Baratheons or the Greyjoys or whoever else thinks they deserve the crown.

With Robb, he called himself the King of the North and believed that he was destined to rule the throne. Obviously that didn’t happen but even he was entitled to the crown. Jon isn’t. He joined the Night’s Watch and does what he needs to to survive and only works towards making a better world for his family.

Jon is kind of thrust into this and he has to find a way to survive even though this isn’t what he went away for. He went to the wall for himself and now he is back in the thick of everything for his family.

The thing about Game of Thrones is that everyone is loyal to themselves but most also have a fierce loyalty to their family. For Jon, that is extremely true. He is in this battle because of his circumstances and because of those who killed his father and his brother and now, he deserve the throne since he doesn’t feel entitled to it.
