Star Trek

What do you think Star Fleet is? An organized body who works to explore new lands and keep peace in the galaxy. Star Fleet is a governing body. Once again, Star Trek is another example of “don’t bring your politics into my fandom” that does not work at all. With this series, it is literally all about the galactical politics of a space society where a hot young captain named Kirk tries to bring peace.

The politics of Star Fleet are simple. There is a commanding order and everyone works in harmony. That’s what the entire series is about (with the exception of Deep Space Nine). So if you preach to get those terrible politics out of your Star Trek, I’ll come right back with a “you definitely have no idea what Star Trek is”.

Anymore, everything has some kind of underlying political theme. Actually, not anymore. It has always been this way. Just look at Star Trek for example! It just celebrated 50 years of Trek and it has always had this same set up.

They are a governing body who go from planet to planet and make sure everything is running smoothly in the galaxy. It is about politics. Get over it.
