Doctor Who

The Doctor has a job with the government. There are political bodies on almost every planet he goes to. He is even friends with Winston Churchill! But I guess, since it isn’t really American politics, that’s okay?

No. Even everyone’s beloved Doctor Who has a political backing. Without it, it would just be a man wandering space wildly with no real direction. And, for the Doctor, that is an extremely dangerous thing. So instead, he has governing bodies to uphold and even his own rules of conduct. He makes his own political undertones because of how he governs himself and his companions.

This is one of those shows though that if you wanted to, you could say that it doesn’t really have anything to do with politics. While that is grossly untrue, you can get through a lot of the series without dealing with the political side of the show. Granted, you can’t watch it straight through, but you could avoid them if you truly wanted.

But at the heart of it, Doctor Who still has a strong political tie and if you want to watch the whole series, you can’t escape it. So, now, you get to say that politics does have a major part in Doctor Who. So big that even the Doctor is part of the government.
