Sarah McLachlan, Wonderland
October 21, 2016

One of my favorite Christmas songs of all time features Sarah McLachlan with The Bare Naked Ladies. Their version of “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen” has been a classic fave in my house for years. Both my dad and I love it so much that when it comes on, everyone shuts up and lets us sing and dance like idiots until it’s done. Not only is it sassy and jazzy, but Sarah’s voice is light, airy, and makes us feel all bubbly inside.

Sarah McLachlan’s newest Christmas album, Wonderland, promises to be “one of the year’s top Christmas albums” and it’s not hard to understand why. Sarah’s name—and voice—are universally recognizable, and her soulful singing creates the feeling of love and warmth, which is perfect for the holiday season.

Wonderland is McLachlan’s ninth studio album and her second Christmas album following Wintersong from 2006. The Barnes and Noble edition of Wonderland includes two bonus tracks, “Amazing Grace” and “Snow”.
