6. She is Super Intelligent

Her success makes it obvious that Leslie is an extremely intelligent woman but as the show goes on, it is clear that Leslie is exceptionally smart. She constantly has to outwit those around her and work towards making Pawnee great.

And if it wasn’t clear by the hoops Leslie has to go through, it is by her constant success in whatever she puts her mind to. She wanted to be on city council and she won the election. The National Parks Service reached out for Leslie because they wanted her. She ends up being governor to Indiana and possibly even president.

Maybe it is because most of the citizens of Pawnee pale in comparison to Leslie. Even if she was in a town filled with highly intelligent people, she would still shine because of her heart and her mind working in tandem together. While she is very smart, Leslie succeeds and does so so well because of her determination, heart, and willingness to help all those around her.

Even as a kid, Leslie proved that she was smart and that she would do whatever she had to to succeed. And she did! Her childhood dream was to be governor and she did that and more!
