This week, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend finds Rebecca in a friendship that she never thought would work itself out. That means, she’s friends with Valencia.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend showed us the importance of fixing yourself and the friendships around you. Though we saw a bit of the decline of Paula and Rebecca, we saw the two of them finding friendships that seem to make the two better. But it is heartbreaking to watch Paula and Rebecca struggle with their close friendship.
Rebecca and Heather
Rebecca is going a little overboard with trying to fix all the people in her life. Rather than focusing on those she cares most about, she wants to fix whatever her ‘relationship’ with Josh ruined. And that means trying to force people to listen to her talk about it all. But not with Heather. She is willing to live with Rebecca and be friends with her but she isn’t going to let her talk about Josh.
So, they have a new deal. If Rebecca mentions Josh, she has to pay Heather five dollars. So far Rebecca has paid up quite the amount of money because she just hands Heather a huge handful of money to make it up to her.
Paula In Law-school
Paula found her new friend. At law school, she expresses her problems and he decides to help her and the two form a friendship in class. So the two start getting into all the hijinks that she used to get into with Rebecca. The two of them break into a guy’s room so that they can steal his app for taking notes in class.
It’s the Paul we know and love again but it is definitely better this time around because it is for her. She’s trying to do well in school and forget about all that is happening in her life so she’s investigating and going a little outrageous once more.
Rebecca and her forced friendships
Valenica wants nothing to do with Rebecca. She just wants to live her life and get over her break-up in her own way. But of course Rebecca wants to force her into doing things with her. So Rebecca drags her along to Electric Messa to try and heal their friendship (that never really existed in the first place).
But it seems like all Rebecca wants to do is talk about Josh. Even when they are meant to be bonding, she just brings him up. She doesn’t have Paula so she tries to get Valencia to be her replacement. That results in the two having a ‘dream ballet’ about Josh after they drink the drug triceratops at the festival.
Josh Chan the Girlfriend Guy
Josh doesn’t know how to be single. So he goes to work early, organizes the whole store and when his boss finally gets tired of him, he sends him to the Electric Messa to fix a broken speaker. Too bad that both his ex-girlfriends are there and decide to pee on his equipment.
Then they make fun of Josh for all the pain that he put them through and made him cry. It was great because it showed the empowerment of Rebecca and Valencia. But it ended up working out for Josh in the end because he got Brittany Snow.
Rocky Road for Darryl and Josh
It has seemingly been an easy road for Darryl and Josh up until this point but then Darryl discovered Josh’s love of older men. So he spends the episode worried about their relationship until the two of them admit that they love one another.
Which leads to Josh getting to meet Madison (Darryl’s daughter). It was sweet and showed just how much these two care about each other. They love one another and they just want to be happy and that is something wonderful to see on television.
