Here Are 20 Reasons Why We All Love Eddie Redmayne

5. Can’t Ride a Horse
Eddie Redmayne is a liar. Well, he is according to Tom Hooper. On the film Elizabeth I, Eddie’s character had to ride a horse. So, he wanted the role despite his lack of experience when it comes to riding horses. Especially since he didn’t know how to ride a horse and decided to lie to Tom Hooper.
On the set, Eddie just got onto the horse and pretending like he knew what he was doing. When he clearly didn’t know what he was doing and almost killed half the crew on the set, Tom Hooper came out from behind Helen Mirren yelling “You’re a f***ing liar, Redmayne.”
The story continued onto the set of Les Miserables when Hooper finally got his revenge. He added a scene where Eddie had to ride a horse that had absolutely no bearing on the plot. The whole story just makes Eddie even cuter. He wanted the job so badly that he lied to do whatever he had to get the job and be in the film.
He succeeded but at his own expense. Hooper could have refused to work with Eddie again but he, like the rest of us, saw something special in him and continued to cast him.
