3. He’s a Hufflepuff

In the world of Harry Potter, what house your favorite actors identify with can make and break them for you. For Hufflepuffs, it is rare to have someone come out saying they are of their same house. Most are Gryffindors or Slytherins, going with what houses most people have heard of.

But not Eddie Redmayne. He made sure to make it known that he was a proud Hufflepuff. In a PSA for MTA, Eddie took a stand on how people view his beloved house and made sure they knew that Hufflepuff’s were not boring. He wanted us all to know just how proud he was of his house.

“I’m a Hufflepuff. Actually, no, I’m a proud Hufflepuff. For far too long now, Hufflepuffs have been victimized. They call us boring, they call us beige, say we’re the nice guys. But do you know what I see in Hufflepuffs? I see loyalty, I see fierce friendship, we’re hardworking and compassionate and at the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing not for the glory but for the greater good.”

Eddie lists other famous Hufflepuffs like The Rock and Cedric Diggory himself (he left out Deadpool but we forgive him). And it just makes Eddie even more relatable. He loves his house and being a Hufflepuff just as we all love our own respective houses!
