We know very little about the Queen of England. We know what we think she did with Diana, we know about all the public drama and we know she is now extremely memeable. But we don’t really know much about her outside of the public view.

The Crown gave us a look into a young Queen Elizabeth II and how she grew into the women that we all know and love today. It showed us how she went from being the sweet daughter of Albert to the ruler through so many hard times for England and the entire world.

Elizabeth is not just the older woman we see today. She is a powerful, intelligent woman who put duty above so much else and made sure she followed her grandmother’s letter. The crown must come first and we can see how the crown has in her life.

But she is amazing and this new look into her life is something else entirely. Yes, it is fiction but it also makes us look at what we know about the Queen differently.
