Princess Margaret

Her father’s joy, Princess Margaret had a rough run of it on The Crown. She just wanted to have the man she loved in her life and do what she wanted but because she was royalty, she couldn’t even be afford those basic principals. She had to make sure she followed every single rule by the government no matter how upset it made her.

All she wanted was to be with Peter Townsend but the church refused to marry her and while she would run away with him and never return, Peter wouldn’t let her do that. He refused to let her give up the crown.

Margaret was much like her uncle in that regard. He wanted to marry for love and so did she. The only difference was that she was not in direct succession for the crown. But that didn’t matter for the church. They still refused to honor it and she ended up hating her sister for it all.

Margaret is a flirt and fun and loves to run around for the attention but it got her in trouble. She doesn’t know how to control herself and it ends up being her downfall and causes the demise of her relationship with Elizabeth.
