10 Predictions About Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters this week and we have some predictions about what is going to happen in the movie.

We don’t know much about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them but what we do know has us excited. We know that Newt has a case of magical creatures that gets opened and Grindelwald is somehow involved. And that’s pretty much it.

So we have some predictions about what might happen in the movie. They might just be purely fantasy but we can dream, right?

1. Grindelwald has something to do with the case being open

We know that Grindelwald has a cameo in the first movie and is more important as the series unfolds but he might have something to do with the case. He could open it to get Newt in trouble or one of the beasts could help him. Whatever it might be, we think that Grindelwald is behind Newt having to recollect his creatures.

2. Newt and Porpentina will end up together

It is quite obvious that Newt and Porpentina have a special relationship but we don’t know the existent of it. We predict that the two of them end up together and will travel the world and continue Newt’s story with one another.

3. Percival Graves will get hurt by one of the creatures

Colin Farrell has made it clear that he had no idea that the film was part of a series. He thought it was just one movie which makes us believe that maybe something happens to him. The logical thought would be that a wizard kills him but maybe one of the escaped creatures makes Graves meet his end.

4. We’ll get to see Ilvermorny.

Pottermore released a quiz to figure out your Ilvermorny house (the American wizarding school) and we believe that we’ll get to see a glimpse of the school. We don’t know anything about it really, just what is available on Pottermore, but it will be interesting if we don’t see the school when the film is set in America.

5. We’ll get to see glimpses of our favorite characters

We know we’ll get a younger Dumbledore in other films in the series but maybe we’ll see some other characters we know and love. Maybe we’ll get a super young Minerva or some other Hogwarts professor. No one has been announced but maybe we’ll get an Easter egg and see some of our favorites yet!

6. Percival isn’t who he says he is

Well, more importantly, we don’t think he’s Percival at all. Ezra Miller may have slipped up in an interview and revealed that Percival is actually Grindelwald using Polyjuice potion. Or he at least isn’t who we think he is. We think that he doesn’t want to really help but rather, start it all.

7. Queenie is much more important than the trailers let on

The trailers make it seem like Queenie is just the sweet sister of Porpentina who has magic abilities but we think she is so much more. She wouldn’t be as important in the promotion if she wasn’t. So we think maybe Queenie ends up saving them. Maybe she’ll capture most the beasts herself!

8. Credence ends up helping Newt

Credence works with Percival, who is seemingly against Newt and trying to get him to go back to England with his beasts. He seems troubled and the information we have about him says that he has a muddled backstory. So, we predict that he ends up switching sides to help Newt in future movies.

9. Newt’s brother shows up

The film has teased about Newt’s brother and Percival’s connection to him so maybe we’ll see him in the flesh. It wouldn’t be surprising since they keep announcing new cameos as the film gets closer to its release.

10. Newt has a magical creature we know

Maybe he has a dragon that we see in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire or we see some other creature we know and love. Yes we are learning about all new creatures and it is an extension of the world we know and love but maybe he’ll have some relative of Buckbeak with him or something we know of already.
