PANT SUIT SEVEN: Teal is Your Color

Once in the Senate, Hillary was once again constantly under the microscope. At this point, she was probably used to being in the spotlight, but still, it’s not easy! Living both the life of a former First Lady and a Senator is hard work, but of course, Hillary doesn’t give up easily. She never does.

In 2001, now Senator Hillary Clinton and Former President Bill Clinton took a quick trip to Washington, DC, to say goodbye to staffers and volunteers. Hillary obviously remembered what a great color teal is on this trip because she broke out a bright teal pantsuit. Again, what a bold choice! Wearing this simple teal pantsuit, Hillary chatted with Deputy Chief of Staff Steve Riccetti and former advisor Bruce Lindsay. Working in a business so often seen as a boys club, Hillary is probably used to standing out. But in a sea of men wearing bright ties with their suits, Hillary’s bright smile also makes her stand out. So while she doesn’t need the help of the teal suit, there’s no way anyone could overlook her when she’s wearing it. Maybe that’s part of her strategy? Either way, Hillary’s consistency when it comes to pantsuits is impressive.
