11. Joe Biden’s Back of Gym Boxing Ring

This election has been marked by more vocal support from the sitting administration than ever in recent history. Consequently, it has also been marked by more vocal disdain. Current U.S. Vice President Joe Biden is no stranger to expressing his frustration with the events of the campaign. While campaigning for Clinton, VP Biden showed that even he has reached his limit. In response to what Trump’s talking about grabbing women’s bodies, Biden claimed he’d like to grab Trump for a different reason: To take him “behind the gym.”

There’s very little subtlety in Biden’s statement. The Vice President wishes he were a younger man so that he didn’t have the burden of adult maturity. While it’s understandable to be angry, the phrase seems poorly thought-out in context. It’s the same kind of excuse that Trump himself used. Although Trump was much older than the teen that Biden longs to be, the passage of time is no excuse for physically attacking someone. At any age, it’s still wrong.

That being said, at the very least, Biden recognizes that there’s a difference between what you can do and what you should do. I have no doubt the VP could take Trump in a fight, but that’s not how our leaders (or anyone) should act. To quote Michelle Obama, “When they go low, we go high.”
