She thinks higher education is too expensive.
Hillary Clinton has a plan to make higher education accessible to all Americans, no matter their social standing. She also wants to take on the battle with student debt. She thinks every person should have the right to graduate from a community college without any student debt. This will require states to step up to the plate and invest more in their education, but it will also mean more people will be entering the labor force qualified and with knowledge to take on more tasks.
This is especially important to women. It’s often seen that women who have children at a young age don’t have the chance to attend college. They’re putting money into their family instead of an education. Having community college that offers free tuition can change that. Young mothers can attend college, receive a degree, and not leave with a devastating amount of debt. Along with this, she’s working hard to provide on-campus childcare for women at a low cost, furthering the ability for women to gain education without negatively impacting their family.
