History could be made during this election, bringing new meaning to “a woman belongs in the house.” White House, that is.
There is an assumption that one should vote Hillary Clinton because she’s a woman. Now that logic may seem reasonable, but that’s absolutely not the case this election. You shouldn’t vote Hillary because she’s a woman. You should vote Hillary because you’re a woman.
For years now, and with her experience in politics, Hillary Clinton has prioritized women’s rights over most. This ranges everywhere from closing the gender wage gap to supporting a women’s right to choose, to making sure all races and religions of women are treated equally.
"“Women’s rights are human rights.“"
Damn straight they are. Hillary understands the importance of equality between genders. She identifies as a feminist, fighting for us over her many years in office. She is strong supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment and the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v Wade. She supported the FDA approval of mifepristone (the abortion pill) while she was First Lady, and also backs the Violence Against Women Act. I could go on.
A vote for Hillary is a vote for women’s future. If she wins, we win. So, get out and vote. Make your nasty woman voice heard.
