Best bets: Lightning-Rangers, Blackhawks-Kings, Senators-Oilers

Conceivably, you could watch hockey for something like eight and a half hours straight, assuming that you start with the Sabres-Jets game and watch all the way to the end of Capitals-Flames. That also assumes that every game runs smoothly. Really, you’d probably end up seeing Monday morning if you tried to pull it off.

If you have to pick one, go for the Lightning-Rangers matchup. Both teams are currently hanging out near the tops of their divisions, and additional points never go amiss. The Lightning have done well on the road so far in the season, which is a small sample size still but does have some merit.

If you’re in the mood, you could switch around to the Blackhawks-Kings game, which will be a rematch of two very contentious Western Conference Finals series from 2013 and 2014. Meanwhile, the Senators will try and challenge the Oilers’ hot streak, with the Oilers’ only loss this season coming at home.

No games will be played on Halloween, so on to Tuesday!
