Ethel Beavers

Ethel Beavers is one of the most confusing characters on the show. She seems like she’d vote for Trump as an old grumpy lady but then she does things that make her seem sweet and willing to do whatever for her fellow woman. She’s a confusing lady.

Maybe she wouldn’t vote at all. Ethel might see it as pointless because she’ll be dead before anything bad really happens. It’s morbid but she is the pseudo grandma to April and Andy so you can’t expect much more.

Leslie would go campaigning door to door and get to Ethel’s house one time though. Ethel would end up saying something so surprising (either that she was already voting for Clinton or that she was going with Trump) and she’d close her door before Leslie could respond.

The problem with Ethel Beavers is that she’s so unpredictable, we don’t know who she’d vote for in the end. She seems like the easy choice of a Trump supporter but then she could shock everyone with her vote and go Clinton.

But she probably isn’t going to vote at all. She seems like the type to just shrug it off and say “no” to the election as a whole.
