Shauna is going to be a silent Hillary supporter. She’ll vote for Clinton and she’ll tell anyone who asks her the truth about who she’s voting for but Shauna isn’t going to put a lot of effort into the election. Even though she’s a journalist she’ll probably only write about the happenings in Pawnee.

The thing about Shauna and where she lives and works is that the election would matter to Leslie and her immediate group and no one else in Pawnee. Leslie would make everyone in Pawnee care about it and vote. Shauna would probably continue to be assigned information about what was happening in their small town in Indiana and the election coverage in the newspapers of Pawnee would be minimal.

There would be a moment when she reaches out to try and help Leslie with volunteering but it would somehow work against her. Because that’s just how Shauna’s life goes. But she would vote for Clinton. Maybe she’d even go to the party Leslie would throw and wear a shirt for Hillary.

In the end, she might get to cover the party but that would be about it. It’s Pawnee, they almost elected Bobby Newport for fear of losing candy.
