32. Alexandria Tower Falls

This was a turning point in Alexandria. It was the official collapse of the town they all knew as home. After thinking that maybe this could actually be a place they stay, and remain save, the fall of the tower reneged that. It was the time point in the series where they realized there isn’t a safe place anymore.

The tower started to lose structural integrity, and as a result, collapsed into the town. The tower had experienced severe fire damage, and was finally driven into with an eighteen-wheeler during the attack of the Wolves. The final straw came from the massive amount of walkers pushing into the walls and the tower of Alexandria.

The collapse of the tower led to the invasion of walkers in Alexandria, which naturally, led to a multitude of deaths and injuries, but it also showed a lot of peoples strength, dedication, and fearlessness. The people who had lived in this town since the beginning of the apocalypse, knew nothing but this safe area to retreat to. When the tower comes down and the walkers invade, it hammers the fact that there’s no such thing as permanent safety anymore. And if they want to survive, they need to fight for it.
