The premiere of Season 7 has finally come and gone, so with that, we’re breaking down the most shocking moments of The Walking Dead… So far.

The Walking Dead, an AMC series based off the same name comic book from Robert Kirkman, first aired in 2010 and stole the hearts of fans across the globe. It’s a show known for its disregard of boundaries and its continual shock factor. One scene, a character is taking on a leadership role. The next scene, that same character is dead.

The show is lead by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), the sheriff who woke up from a coma in the middle of the end of the world. His loyal group who’s still alive consists of, Carl (Chandler Riggs), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Morgan (Lennie James), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), and a handful of others.

Six seasons have passed with jaw-dropping moments. Moments that often fueled fan outrage, but moments that continue to build the framework of this fan favorite show. The seventh season premiered Sunday 10/23 on AMC and with it, came moments that made our jaws drop.
