#11: “I Gave You A UTI”
Rebecca and Greg have finally pulled the metaphorical trigger and gotten together. That is, if “gotten together” means “foregone the actual dating rituals in favor of having tons of sex for days on end.” And, as is a very possible side effect of this situation, Rebecca contracts a UTI. Being a true dude, Greg has no idea what that really means, so when Rebecca tells him she’s in pain because of all the sex they’ve been having? Not only does he take it as a compliment, but he sings an entire song devoted to bragging about his so-good-it-hurts man-parts. Sure, he kind of misses the point. And yeah, Rebecca, like a queen, refuses to miss a chance to correct him at every misinformed turn he makes. But watching how excited he gets at the idea that his junk made a difference (albeit, a pretty negative one)? Priceless. Typical, priceless, goofy-dude behavior. But, somehow, the way he does it isn’t infuriating or oppressive or gross at all. It’s just straight up charming as hell.
