Why She’s Awesome: I mean. Come on. In today’s political landscape, we’ve been through a lot. Halloween will be only about a week away from the most important election of our lifetimes. It’s been a really intense ride. But less like a fun roller coaster and more like the passenger’s seat of a maniac’s high-speed chase. But despite all the mountains of crap she went through, Hillary Clinton has consistently come out on top of her opposing candidate. Hillary started as a lawyer who worked tirelessly for women and families, and she became, as we know, First Lady, a senator, and the Secretary of State. She has exemplified perseverance and grace in the face of literal insanity, and she has mountains of experience over the man who is opposing her. Dressing as her just days before she is named the President-Elect will be the perfect tribute!
What You’ll Need: The memes are accurate – go with the pantsuit. Hillary likes to keep it simple in a solid color suit, but she frequently adds personality by going for bold colors. A bright red or blue pantsuit would be especially appropriate for the election! Find some sensible heels and and some classy pearls to clinch the presidential look. Our girl’s blonde hairstyle is highly recognizable and almost certainly available in wig form everywhere this year. Finally, invest in some campaign merchandise, like a button, pin, or even a Woman Card, to show that you’re with her!

My favorite is from the time she won a Grammy in 1997. I KNOW, right? The audio version she recorded of her first book was named “Best Spoken Word Album.” But regardless, her solid gold out fit was killer. See if you can find something similar, or go for the cotton candy pink suit from her famous ’95 women’s rights speech in Beijing. All the liberals in your squad will love seeing past versions of our soon-to-be Madame President!
