Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 3: Catching Up On The Cast
By Jamie Light
Brandi & Max
Max Lux and Brandi Boyd came into the picture for season two. Brandi is in a rap duo called Queens. She has been Ray J’s best friend for years and she made appearances on his show For the Love of Ray J. Brandi was also the god-daughter of the late Whitney Houston.
Max Lux is a music producer and songwriter. He is best known for his work with hip-hop artists Lil Wayne and Lil Kim. He is currently working on his own label called White Cup Confessions. Max and Brandi have been married for eight years and have one son together.
This couple is the dynamic duo of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. They often have their spats, but always find a way to work through them. Their problem’s from last season were mostly caused by Max’s refusal to wear his wedding band and Brandi’s snooping at his recording studio. Brandi did not catch him cheating on her, although he and some friends were in the studio with some other females.
Max’s laid back style is a good match for Brandi’s explosive personality. Brandi often attempts to chase him down, while he often tries to walk away from the explosion. Their main issue this season has been Brandi’s deception in opening up her boutique with the money Max gave her for their son’s savings.
