Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 3: Catching Up On The Cast
By Jamie Light
Princess & Ray J
If the name Ray J sounds familiar to you it could be for many reasons, but it’s most likely because he starred in the sex tape with Kim K. Ray J’s full given name is William Ray Norwood Jr. He is also well-known in the hip-hop industry as the hit R&B singer Brandy’s brother. He has dabbled in the industry some himself, but nothing that could be considered a hit.
Princess Love, however is a different story altogether. She has no background or current place in the hip-hop industry outside of her relationship to Ray J. Princess was once in a relationship with Floyd Mayweather, but cheated on him with Ray J. 50 Cent publicly spilled the details of their relationship on Instagram. Princess and Ray J became a true couple following her very public breakup with Mayweather.
Princess and Ray J found themselves involved in some bitter arguments with Ray Jay’s ex Teairra Mari during season’s one and two. A lot of the problems came from Ray J, who had been jumping from one bed to the other throughout the majority of season one. It was rather sad seeing the two women fight over Ray J rather than pointing the blame in his direction. Princess won the war and prize of Ray J. If you could consider him worth the war, being won, or a prize.
Ray J and Princess were still having difficulties with his philandering. Princess ended up dumping him when he failed to give up his apartment and instead had a bash with strippers involved.
The couple returned for season three engaged, but Ray J has more interest in his scooter line than helping Princess plan the wedding. The biggest problem for them this season has been Ray J’s mom, Sonja Bates-Norwood. She has been insisting on a prenuptial agreement, which Princess refused. Ray J has since tore the prenup in two in order to profess his love for the former stripper, who kept the philandering boyfriend.
Did anyone else see the words doomed written on the torn prenup?
