47. Dev Patel

When Slumdog Millionaire hit our screens, many asked who the gangly but exceedingly handsome lead was. But then, there was all us lovely fans of Skins who were more than willing to talk about the ever beautiful Dev Patel.

After his fame (and Screen Actors Guild nomination) from Millionaire, Patel has continued to make us fall in love with him. Now, maybe it’s the accent or maybe it’s that skinny frame that just SCREAMS what we love about our British men but whatever it is, it made us fall for Dev. And we all fell hard.

So it hurt when he was away from us for a while. For three years, he was only in small things and we really didn’t know where we had lost Dev to. But then he came back in the strangest choice ever and it just intrigued us even more. Especially when we all say through The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and said to ourselves “good movie but why?”.

And on top of his versatility as an actor, he’s also an amazing person. In interviews, it’s clear that Dev is just a very grounded and personable guy, someone you’d love to be friends with. And that’s why we love Dev Patel.
