49. Gerard Butler

Our Scottish/British king comes in the form of the Phantom himself, Gerard Butler. Many of us younger girls remember our mother’s dying when they saw 300, or at least that’s what happened in our household. But Gerard has continued to show us his beautiful face and those amazing acting chops.

And boy, can he sing. Though many have a problem with the film version of Phantom of the Opera, it has absolutely nothing to do with Gerard’s beautiful portrayal of the Phantom. What’s sad is that many people don’t realize it is him. You know, because of the mask and all.

But since, Gerard has become an action star and a romantic lead. You’d think that combination doesn’t work out most times but it does for Butler!

And he continued to tear our hearts out when he played Gerry in P.S I Love You. Gerard is just one of those guys that everything about him makes him attractive, even his weird interview stories about his aunt basically dying and coming back to life at a movie premiere of his.

Whatever it is, we love Gerard and we’d like to see a movie of his where he doesn’t end up dead or alone. That’d be a nice change.
