Benedict Cumberbatch is the king of the memes, unintentionally. From his strange name to his odd looks, many ask why girls go crazy for him. And yet here he is, number 19 on our list of hot British boys.

The thing is that Benedict Cumberbatch is hot in the oddest way possible. He kind of looks a bit like an alien but an alien you’d marry if they asked. Weird way to think about him right? But it makes sense.

Maybe it’s his acting abilities. They’re insane. He’s one of the best we have. But then, we have some very ugly actors who have won Oscars and they don’t have the sex appeal Benny here does.

What we do know is that whenever he has his Sherlock hair, he grows infinitely more attractive. It ups whatever factors into him being hot. Those curls flopping over his eyes as he deduces some insane thing? There is nothing sexier.

He’s so weirdly beautiful that girls would willingly take on the last name Cumberbatch just to be with him. That takes guts and love and clearly the world is willing to do it for Benedict Cumberbatch. We’re willing to do anything for him, like love him despite his name being Benedict Cumberbatch.
