52. Charlie Cox

Matt Murdock is the kind of superhero who makes us look bad as un-superpowered people as well. He’s a blind attorney who spends his nights protecting the streets of Hell’s Kitchen.

But, Matt is made that much better by being played by Charlie Cox. This beautiful Brit was not well known before Matt Murdock appeared in Netflix’s Daredevil. Some knew of him, some didn’t, but we all knew his name after that fateful first season.

And, his body made sure we all learned who Charlie Cox was.

But that’s now all that makes him brilliant, he’s a fantastic actor as well. From Stardust before his take on Matt Murdock to The Theory of Everything, Charlie is a force to be reckoned with.

Again though, his face isn’t hurting him. Not only is he adorable and talented and built like no other, but he’s also incredible sweet. During his recent run of Incognito off-Broadway, he made sure to take his time with fans every night and thank them for coming out. What a gentleman, as if we didn’t love him enough already.

So here’s to Charlie Cox, may there always be that scene in Daredevil where you are heavy breathing without a shirt on just to make us all swoon.
