NEW YORK – APRIL 23: ‘Don’t Fail’ – When a former client calls Alicia after being charged with murder tied to a case from 2009, Alicia reviews the old case, prompting memories of her early days as a lawyer, on THE GOOD WIFE, Sunday, May 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. 35. Matthew Goode

When A Single Man came out, the world had two thoughts: 1. wow, this movie is heartbreaking and great and 2. I also would want to kill myself if Matthew Goode was my lover and tragically died. Well, maybe the world wasn’t that dramatic but it was upsetting seeing this beautiful creature gone.

Matthew, known for his work in Watchmen and Leap Year, is what we refer to as the typical British boy. Strikingly handsome, tall, skinny, with dark hair and beautiful blue eyes, there is seemingly nothing wrong about him.

And he always looks good. Even when he’s the creepy man in Stoker, he’s still attractive. It’s a real problem.

But Matthew is intelligent and talented and he’s a good dad to boot! It seems like Matthew Goode only exists to break our hearts for being too perfect. And break our hearts in A Single Man.

And it seems as if we’re going to continue to get work from Matthew as well! He has a new pilot he’s starring in called Roadside Picnic coming out soon! So, even though Henry Talbot from Downton Abbey is gone from our lives, that doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to the hunk Matthew Goode.
