Kim Kardashian West Robbed in Paris, Kanye Stops Concert

Kim Kardashian West was robbed in Paris. Unfortunately, the details lead to more questions than answers.

Kim Kardashian West was in France for Paris Fashion Week and attended the Givenchy show Sunday night. She was staying in a luxurious and discreet apartment in the Hotel de Pourtales, which has been described as a “no address establishment” for the rich and famous.

Kim has been sharing her journey through Paris Fashion Week with her fans via her social media. It is chock full of selfies with supermodel Naomi Campbell, facials and of course, couture clothing. Her musician and part-time fashion designer husband, Kanye was not with her Sunday night. Kanye left due to a scheduled concert in New York at Meadows Music and Arts Festival for the same evening.

Last night, armed masked men dressed as police officers broken into the hotel. The robbers managed to overtake the hotel night guard. Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room then tied up and locked in the bathroom. The robbers allegedly stole a million dollars worth of jewelry to include her wedding ring. There are claims she was tied up, like something out of a old school heist film.

The Paris police are investigating the incident. Kim left Paris the next morning to go home to be with family. She was not physically hurt by the robbers but is shaken by the entire ordeal.

The first inkling the public got that something was terribly wrong in the Kardashian West clan was when Kanye walked off the stage in the middle of singing the song “Heartless.” He apologized but explained there was a family emergency. While some Kanye fans were inexplicably upset about the concert being cut short, others were concerned something might have happened to his two small children 3-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint. It is still unknown if the two children were in Paris with their mother or at home in California.

While we have a few details but questions are piling up. Many people were left confused why Kim was left alone at the hotel room without any security. The Kardashian West clan very rarely make any appearance without security present. Kim even poked fun at her Paris security for being in her shot the very day of the robbery. Where was the hotel security or cameras?

Fans and celebrities have been very supportive of Kim Kardashian West after her robbery. Many have jumped on social media to shut down trolls who claim Kim is doing this for attention or that she deserved it for being rich.

It does not matter if you like or do not like Kim or Kanye. No one deserves to be robbed of his or her belongings. It does not matter if it was 20 dollars or a million dollars. The victim absolutely does not deserve people’s ridicule. For the people admonishing Kanye for leaving the concert early to take care of his wife; you wish you had someone who would do that for you.
