Outlander Season 3: Sneak Peeks and Speculation

Entertainment Weekly is giving us a sneak peek at the new season of Outlander, slated for a 2017 premiere and we have some gossip to go with it!

Entertainment Weekly’s new issue (out today) is highlighting Outlander season 3 with new photos, sneak peeks, and interviews with the cast and producer Ronald D. Moore, including photos from the set.

We already know that Season 3 will follow the third book in Diana Gabaldon’s epic time travel historical romance series, Voyager, but with some changes. Ron Moore has spoken before about the necessity of changing certain things in order for the translation from book to TV to make sense. Of course, we’re no stranger to changing the book to make the TV show work- and so far, Moore and the cast and crew have done a fantastic job. Every changed/ new scene has added to the depth of a story that has a cult-like following.

So let’s take a look at some of the photos and speculate what on earth could be happening in each! A new scene? A changed scene? A scene straight from the book? What about costumes, and characters interacting?
