9. Pretty In Pink: Season 3, Episode 12

Another Stanford outfit makes the cut and this one is a little bit more daring. If there’s one color Mindy should always wear, it’s pink and this outfit is the prime example. She tucks her flowy pink shirt into a red skirt with lipstick designs all over it and tights. Finishing it off with a pink jacket, a pink purse, and pink accessories is the quintessential Mindy look especially since Danny is visiting her in this episode.

If you’re not a fan of The Mindy Project or you don’t know the dynamic between Mindy and Danny, the two are basically like oil and water especially when it comes to fashion. Danny prefers a more classic look while Mindy likes to take risks. The overall pink also looks great on her, because it complements her skin tone and she doesn’t get lost beneath all of the pink which sometimes can happen. You might not be thinking patterns when you see this outfit, but the sequined lipsticks on her skirts give this outfit a little bit more pizzazz. The different shades of pink especially in her purse and jacket don’t clash with each other but actually enhance each other. “Stanford” should be known as one of the best fashion episodes for Mindy.
