10. Sweater and Skirt: Season 3, Episode 18

If there’s anything Mindy loves more than Beyonce, it’s sweaters. This outfit is simple with a touch of modern flair. She pairs a black skirt with polka-dot tights and if you weren’t looking close, you wouldn’t notice that the design on her sweater and her tights actually match. The pink adds some much-needed color and the polka dots are a fun touch.

Thus begins my love affair with Mindy Lahiri in sweaters and in pink. Let’s talk about her sweater first, because when you first see it, it looks like she has a design of a dog or something on it but when you look closer, you can see that it’s actually a patch of polka dots made of a leather-like material. The black spots contrast perfectly with the pink on it and the pink gives her outfit some color without it being too overpowering which the rest of the outfit lacks. The design on her tights is probably my second favorite thing about this outfit because she could have just paired with some simple black tights but the polka dots match the sweater. Plus the polka dots also refer back to those little accents that I talked about from her previous outfits.
