11. Blue Floral Dress: Season 2, Episode 19

No one can rock a three-quarter sleeve like Mindy Lahiri. This blue and white floral dress only furthers my love for Mindy in prints. The addition of the tan jacket really makes the outfit, though, because she looks pretty dressed up with only the dress. However, when she adds the jacket, it can be a little bit more laid-up and casual which is what I love most about how she dresses.

Let’s just talk about the print for a minute. If you haven’t noticed, I have a thing for Mindy in printed and patterned outfits because she actually takes risks. I know florals for spring is groundbreaking…Bonus point if you know what that quote’s from but Mindy kind of gives me a retro vibe here. She matches the floral print dress with a tan, trench coat which is another throwback to a retro look. Actually, this whole look is pretty retro especially with her hair, statement earrings and hair clip in the back. Her look might be retro/vintage-inspired but it still has a modern look to it as well. The modern aspect really comes from how the dress fits her and shows off her curves subtlety.
