13. Casual Chic: Season 2, Episodes 17 and 18

This definitely isn’t Mindy’s fanciest outfit, but somehow she still rocks the casual look just as well. On the bottom, she’s simply wearing leggings, but her top takes it to the next level. The black t-shirt with the belt adds a little bit of embellishment without overtaking the simplicity of it but her cardigan is perfect. It’s made of thick material until you look at the sleeves and they look like they’re made of a leather-type material. This outfit is so much more just by adding those little accents like she always does without the outfit losing what made it so great, to begin with.

The reason why I love this outfit so much is the top, because when people wear leggings, it’s usually because they don’t want to be dressed up. However, Mindy actually makes the sweater leggings combination look casual but still appropriate for going out and having fun. Plus there is no one else on TV who can rock an accessory like Mindy can and this outfit really shows that, because even though they’re simple, I can’t imagine the outfit without those small details. The colors actually don’t contrast either considering all of the black she has on and the sweater brings some much-needed color to the outfit.
