Top 10 female superheroes who deserve their own TV show

6. Ms. Marvel / Kamala Khan
If you’re looking for racial diversity and equal gender representation, look no further than Kamala Khan, Marvel’s first Muslim character with her own comic series — and a fantastic one at that.
Who she is: Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American who discovers she has shape-shifting powers and uses her abilities to follow in the footsteps of Captain Marvel. A native of New Jersey, Khan’s powers don’t manifest until after Terrigen Mists sweep across the world and activate Inhuman genes in people all over the world.
Since her humble beginnings in 2013, Khan has teamed up with Wolverine, Spider-Man, and the Avengers.
Why she deserves a TV show: Regardless of where Kamala Khan comes from or what she believes in, she happens to be one of most relatable characters of recent memory. She’s a young woman struggling to break free of the stereotypes imposed on her while also juggling schoolwork and regular family life. The struggle is real and no one understands this better than Kamala Khan, especially when she realizes that being a superhero isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.
Who could play her: Anyone young and anyone who is not white.
