We run down the best dressed, the worst dressed, and the few outlier oddball looks of the stars on the 68th Annual Emmys Red Carpet.

It’s finally time for the 68th Annual Primetime Emmys Awards. Held live from the Microsoft Theater, where everyone on the red carpet assured us, it was *very* hot, the stars arrived dresses in their best dresses selected both in hopes of landing on Best Dressed Lists, while also aiming not to offend.

The Red Carpet was, as it has been these past few years a split channel affair. The first hour of coverage on the E! Network, hosted by Jason Kennedy (who is no Ryan Seacrest) and Giuliana Rancic, and their gimmicky fashion must haves, like the 360 degree camera, the mani-cam, the slow camera pan up the gown, and all the rest.

Then at 7pm, ABC’s coverage kicked in. That’s when we start flipping back and forth from channel to channel to check in with the far blander Lara Spencer and Chris Harrison pretended they had the carpet and the stars to themselves, and the aforesaid stars hadn’t given these exact same interviews with Jason and Giuliana less than an hour ago on the other network.

So whose dresses were a success? Who was a mess? And who merely survived the red carpet full court press? We’ve got all the Best, the Worst and the Ugliness.
