The 23 Best Mulder and Scully Moments
By Tina Wargo

#6: Requiem
This episode is packed to the brim with mythology. Some is worth recapping, some is impossible to describe in just a few sentences, and some I’m pretty sure I don’t remotely understand even after seeing each episode at least twice.
The important stuff revolves around Scully’s medical and abductional (made it up- deal with it) history, and the shared history of women abducted around the same time as her. Basically, there’s a lot for Mulder to be worrying about at all times RE: Dana K. Scully, and the ongoing government conspiracies that are threatening to destroy them at every turn probs aren’t helping.
But she’s Scully, so she’s not about to give up. Mulder needs her help, and she’s in way too deep to abandon their quest. She’s not willing to stop her work in the X-Files, no matter what the consequence.
Which is a really good thing for us, tbh, because that means we get to watch her crawl into bed with Mulder when she starts to feel sick in the middle of the night. He cuddles her, trying to convince her it’s not worth her life to keep going (but probably only convincing her that if frequent Fox-spooning is on the table, aliens are worth it).
If the aforementioned baseball lesson was Magic Mike, consider this scene Fifty Shades of Grey.
