4. Olivier Green, Season 9

Oliver Green’s 2011 New York Fashion Week Project Runway fashion show wasn’t much to remember. The clothes were just fine. They weren’t garish or understated. They fit well, but there wasn’t anything particularly innovative or super interesting. His futuristic-feeling collection was peppered with sheer tops, metallic pants, and a dress Judy Jetson would have loved (see above), but the real standout pieces in his collection were the eyebrows. Yes, the eyebrows. Not his very early aughts metallics. Not his sleek use of grey and black (we kind of love that) but, no. We remember his thick, wanna-be Brooke Shields circa 1980 eyebrows. The kind of eyebrows you might find as a mustache on a fourteen-year-old cousin’s face the Thanksgiving after puberty. Killer Eyebrows From Outer Space. A small accessory of sorts, yet they overpower the outfits.

We think the runway show’s makeup shouldn’t take away from the looks, and that’s why Oliver Green has made it to our list. We still would totally wear that Judy Jetson dress. Meanwhile, we aren’t very sure if the hair poufs helped his cause. But hey, we aren’t fashion psychics. Maybe everyone in the future just has super thick Groucho brows and a badass sexy librarian chignon.
