6. Leanne Marshall, Season 5

Many girls dream of a big, flowy gown and winning Project Runway. Well, Leanne Marshall got both. While some people doubted her in the beginning (she had a weird thing for brown fabric at first…), her classic looks with an edgy twist seriously graced the New York Fashion Week catwalk like little, floating ballerinas in Tiffany blues, creams, and sea foam greens. Then, without much warning, the dress pictured above walked into our lives and we were forever changed. Many of us fainted. Many of us cry when we mention it to this day.

Way before Frozen’s spell was cast over the world, Marshall brought us the cool ice queen look we had been asking for; a blue, expertly draped, sweetheart neckline gown. We love it so much we would dress it up for an event (Sure. We’re invited to events. Who asked?) or dress it down and call it a “day dress” just so we can wear it to work. We’d probably also like to build a snowman in the dress. We probably wouldn’t take it off. Sorry. This dress is life now. This was one of the best PR runway shows and we aren’t going to let this one go anytime soon.
