Of these two aging TV actresses, Maureen McCormick has the more famous show, The Brady Bunch. She was the one of able to make a career portraying one character, that of Marcia Brady. She’s also the one to be following her castmate onto Dancing with the Stars, since Florence Henderson was on it a number of years ago. But Maureen is not Florence Henderson. She is not a name everyone has heard. She might turn out to be cool, of course, in which case she won’t have to be, but she’ll have to establish that quick. After all, she does not have Derek Hough.
If an old lady cannot have Derek Hough, though, she could do worse than Artem Chingvintsev as an alternative. After all, he did respectably enough, and won audience hearts, with Patti LaBelle. Maureen isn’t quite Patti LaBelle in terms of name recognition either, but Patti’s success was more personality-based. So if Maureen can sell it on that, perhaps she can last a few weeks. But unless she proves far better a dancer than most competitors her age has been, she still shouldn’t make it to the final rounds.
