Dancing with the Stars has over the years had a people with various physical disabilities. Last season, they even had one such contestant win, and everyone loved it. So this season, they seem to be taking a shot at doing it again with Terra Jolé, their first little person contestant. Her official credentials consist of her first being on the Lifetime reality show Little Women: LA, and then on the spinoff series Terra’s Little Family. Very few people have heard of either of these shows, and the number of votes she’ll bring with her are limited. Nor will Sasha Farber bring in that many; he simply hasn’t been on the show enough. They will have to build a following up.
They may well do so, if Terra proves any good at dancing. Certainly there will be practical challenges when a couple with such a large size disparity are trying to ballroom dance together, but the pros on Dancing with the Stars have dealt with more difficult. We can’t be entirely sure Sasha will be up to meeting that kind of challenge, but we can hope. If both these two can accomplish their parts of the task before them, and show what a determined little woman can do? People will applaud, and they will vote for them, and they could get further than anyone would’ve dared predict beforehand.
